Hi. I’m Josh Gibbs. I have autism and I’m from Calgary and I have a very big interest in airplanes. I make realistic planes out of paper and cardboard that I find around my house. I’ve been very interested in airplanes and architecture since I was a really little kid. I made paper airplanes since I was 8 years old and they have really gotten better every year I make them.
I made a WestJet Boeing 737-700 out of paper last January (2015) and my Mom put it online. Many people saw it online and it went viral. It felt strange being famous. WestJet gave me a tour of a 737 and it was a very cool tour because we don’t get to tour planes privately. I really liked the engines and the cockpit.
Now I make airplanes out of paper and sell them. I just finished making a KLM MD-11 right now for a retired pilot and I’m starting a Lancaster bomber for another person.
Thanks so much for visiting my website. I’d like to hear from you.
